Last two times haven’t been as great of products (you can tell it’s the leftover clearance items that haven’t sold-but as long as you’re satisfied with 3 items it’s worth it) but still a great deal and quality.     The mystery boxes never disappoint! All of the items I received were great and fit exactly how I’d expect. For anyone who uses reviews to gauge sizing; the shirts are more of a fitted cut but are true to size while the pants are generally right on sizing wise. The mystery boxes are my favorite way to grow my Tentree collection and I’d recommend to anyone!

    First Mystery Box I ordered for The Hubby as a gift after his major back surgery in SEP 2025. Tentree mystery boxes being a final sale sometimes large fits him, sometimes X-large fits him. I chose large since pre- and post-surgery he’s lost weight. Hat (snap closure), sweatshirt and jacket fit and snug. Two beautiful T-Shirts included but way too small (skin tight). For the money and the mystery and final sale too much of a risk to buy attire you won’t be able to enjoy wearing.

    I bought this mystery box as a gift for my partner and while I can’t review the items fully since I haven’t given them the gift yet, I can say that the value for mystery boxes is great (I bought one for myself previously) as long as you know your size for Tentree products. I can, however, review customer service… I had an issue with my order (connected to delivery so not having to do with Tentree) and was 100% satisfied with the support I received from customer service – it literally could not have been better. This is a great company with very nice products.

    Great style, fit, materials. Fantastic value! We got a long-sleeve polo, graphic t-shirt, beanie, sweatpants, and a sweater. Some small feedback: 3 of the items were black and the other 2 were gray. It would be great to have at least 2 items with color. Also, don’t expect summer clothes in a summer mystery bag, because only the T-shirt (1 of 5 items in the bag) can be worn in the summer. We also keep getting beanies. Our past 2 mystery bags had 2 beanies, which is more than enough.

    I bought a women and men’s mystery bag for my husband and I. The men’s was great! A favorite t-shirt (that I wouldn’t have bought online because it looks much better in person), a light, silky tencel polo, a white sweater, and a beanie. The problem was the sweater. It was amazing, but the hole was too small for him to get his head through. Zero stretch. If the neck hole was a little stretchy, or 2 inches bigger, it would have been great. Now we have a questionable item because it’s perfect in every way except no one wants to be in pain every time they put on a sweater! It’s extremely painful to take off. So far, after months, haven’t worn it once because of course you would choose comfortable clothes over ones that cause pain with no way to fix.

Just because someone is a M in clothing items doesn’t necessarily mean their head is the same size; so my hat should’ve been a M/L instead of a S/M.

    I’ve gotten 4 tentree mystery bags over the years and they have always been outrageously good….until this year, I bought 2, and they were incomprehensibly cheap and lame. I’m happy voting with my dollar either way, supporting companies like tentree is important but between 10 items: 3 generic plain black t-shirts with a small breast iron on logo (2 were the same shirt) , 2 were trucker hats, there was 1 plaid onesie (pretty sweet imo), 1 white generic t shirt with a lazily designed iron on logo, 1 generic plain white t-shirt with a small breast iron on logo, 1 decent t shirt that felt to be of the same material as the items that used to come in the tentee mystery bags, and 1 Juniper water bottle. I understand its a mystery bag but there has been clear decline in the quality of this item even though it is advertised the same as previous years. My sister had a similar experience with mostly the same repeat t shirts as my bags this year. It is mostly loyal customers purchasing these bags so I feel as though its a poor decision to lower their quality. I will make donations with most of these items this time around, again happy to support tentree as always…just not so happy and impressed with your products.

    This was my first Mystery Bag and I’m really happy with the collection. My bag contained two t-shirts, a sweatshirt, a full zip hoodie, and a hat. You had me at full zip hoodie, practical with a little style and texture it’s great. The sweatshirt and t-shirts are are comfortable and I liked the styles. The only letdown was the cap. It was fitted, one size fits most, and it was dramatically too small for my head and the friends I tried to give it to so it could at least be used. Probably not a good idea to send a fitted item in a bag chosen by size. Overall, a happy camper with some great new gear.

    The mystery bag was a great buy and pretty exciting because I had no idea what was coming. I got six mystery items that turned out to be high quality items (2 pairs of socks, a towel, a hoodie, two zip ups, and a hat), all of which I would’ve picked out for myself if given the option. Some items were even made of tencel. All for the price of $125 (plus a few extra bucks to offset delivery carbon emissions), which is a steal. Plus, as usual, ten trees were planted for every item, which is exactly what this planet needs. Highly recommend.

Still waiting to hear back from Tentree, but assume they are slightly slow in response time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which is completely fair and expected!     It’s always a surprise to see what might arrive in the mystery bag. I have several new items that I otherwise would not have thought to purchase that have become some of my favorite items to wear. As well as several solid items that are worth well more than the discounted price per item when combined in the bundled bag. There have been a few items that don’t quite match my style which became gifts for friends who will enjoy them more than I would. Ultimately, it’s always a great deal and I’ve leveled up my tentree wardrobe quite nicely with the mystery bags. Also great as a surprise gift!

    I really enjoyed this. I wasn’t able to get a mystery bag the last time they did them, so I knew I needed to be a little quicker on the draw this time around. As a newer customer, I haven’t made too many purchases, so I was decently confident I would get all new stuff, which is really cool. 2 sweatshirts, 2 t-shirts, and a new hat later, and I’m quite satisfied. Were there some items I would have rather gotten? Sure. Am I upset? No. Its obviously a relatively risky purchase to make, and I consider myself fortunate to have received the variety of items that I got. Thinking about it though, the worst case scenario is that you spend $110 to plant 50 trees, which definitely could have a worse outcome. To me, that’s almost already worth it. All in all though, the items fit me, and you can bet I’ll be rolling the dice again if they do another round of mystery bags.

My only complaint is that we ordered a bag based on size like Xl and they sent us swim trunks that were men size 36 to which my husband will not fit into. So bummer there. I wish they would send items that are Xl not size 36. Or next time give us an option to specify what size bottoms we wear if they’re going to send items like that.     I saw this and thought it would be perfect for me to try some of the products offered by tentree because I’m pretty bad at making choices and for 5 items at $22 each seemed like I would come out on top even if I only got 5 t-shirts and all I really wanted was NO HAT. Not a hat guy… anyway, I received my items, pulled out 3 t-shirts and was happy with how soft they were. The designs of 2 of them were pretty generic but the third was one of the t-shirt designs I really liked. Of course one of them was branded tentree, but still all the same, good shirts. The third item was a blue light hoodie made out of hemp, making it a bit scratchy for me, but I haven’t worn it yet really so I have yet to pass judgement. The last item took me by surprise. A beautifully quilted Jacket with great pocket placement and extremely soft. There’s even an inside breast pocket! I love it so much. I just would have liked it to have a hood though, maybe a detachable one since there are already clasp buttons all over. That aside, I’m pretty sure if I just bought the jacket, I would have paid at least $110 so I feel like it was a great deal, buy one get 4 free. A note on the size, I’m in between Large and Medium and I went with Medium and was really worried that everything would be too small. Everything fits well and seems a bit large for medium but fits me great.

    I read through quite a few reviews before deciding to make my purchase and now that I’ve received my mystery bag, I can give an honest pre- and post review-review, given what I’ve read and experienced, to hopefully give others considering it better perspective. First of all, anyone unsatisfied with the so-called “uninspiring” clothing and designs should probably look at the brand’s offerings first. Most of their style is downplayed, they use a lot of natural colors, they’re generally not high contrast, and they even use a few of the same design concepts in different ways on different articles—so there’s always a little threat of having something similar doubled up (I did get two tees with a similar design, but one full-shirt and one just a pocket design and frankly, I’m thrilled with both). They’re usually subtle and tasteful with a few pieces that go above and beyond by using full-item imagery or brighter colors, but usually, they’re a bit more subtle. If you’ve perused the site or purchased previously, you probably have an idea of what you could be getting, as long as you don’t expect five completely different items in terms of style, type, and color. Second, anyone complaining about getting “just a bunch of tees and a hoodie” and feeling shafted needs to reanalyze their understanding of value. The whole bag is $110. Even just four tees and a hoodie would be around $220-$250 at the regular price, which makes it more than worth it, considering that’s over 50% off. So either buy it full price, on sale, or stop complaining. If you don’t like paying for the mystery/gamble/randomness, pay for the stuff you like. Simple as that. I got four tees and a hoodie, dig the lot, and still feel it was a great deal—no matter what I saw other people get. Yes, the values will vary. Yes, you may like other people’s stuff better. But you’re paying for your bag, your gamble. Own it and don’t blame the company because the stuff that was randomly selected wasn’t to your taste. It’s called a mystery bag for a reason. I also saw people who had issues with ending up getting items they’d ordered in the past. Sorry friends, but that’s on you. Honestly, good for you for being a loyal customer, but you can’t expect them to track and vet every order to make sure it doesn’t happen. There’s also the chance you simply don’t like one or more of the items—and that’s ok, as long as you consider that carefully going into it. I had been scoping this brand for a while now and didn’t yet own any of their stuff, which I think is actually kind of ideal for this product. I got a taste of the brand without breaking the bank and knew I wouldn’t risk any double-ups and ended up loving the experience. In the end, I’ll probably order another mystery bag in the future and buy their clothes regularly because I now know it’s worth even the regular price for clothing I dig and for a good cause. Finally, the quality of the clothing seems solid and fits well. I’m 5’9 and I’m generally a “smedium” because smalls are usually too short and mediums too wide. These fit great and they’re comfortable to boot. Overall, I loved the chance to roll the dice on this bag and I wasn’t disappointed. I’ll be honest as well, there was one t-shirt I probably wouldn’t wear as often as the others. So know what I’m going to do? Give it to a buddy who will love it, spread the word, and do something nice for someone else in the process—and to me, that only makes it more fun, valuable, and meaningful.

    This was my first mystery bag and I was really happy with the content: 2 T-shirts, one hoodie, one zipper-jacket and a 3/4 Shirt (which I thought was super odd in the beginning, but now i really like it). Everything feels and looks great, the only thing that’s a downside for me: the sizing is a bit strange. Especially the hoodie and the zipper-jacket are incredibly long and thus i look a bit lost in them. I bought M which is usually a safe purchase for me. I would buy it again, but think of risking to buy a size smaller next time (which would **** if i received pants, as the would defininetly be too small then)… so: sizing is a bit like gambling, but the rest is cool. Suggestion: It would be awesome to have the option to select different sizes for pants then for the rest!

    Got a 2XL mystery bag for my boyfriend and he liked everything in it! He didn’t have any other clothes from Tentree so I was worried about the fit but everything was true to size. He ended up with three hoodies (one more of t shirt weight hoodie) and two t shirts. Only negative was that the two heavier weight hoodies are very similar in color, one a dark yellow and the other a light burnt orange but still both really nice. We will definitely buy again the next time the bags come out!

    I ordered the men’s XL mystery bag for my partner. I typically expect to like 2-3 items out of the five (and gift the remaining ones). And this mystery bag was no different! My partner got three t-shirts, a long-sleeve hemp collared shirt, and a black short jacket. Of the t-shirts, one was a blue tie-dye, another was a dark charcoal with the tentree logo, and the last a light gray with trees and mountains at the bottom. He REALLY appreciated the sizing on the t-shirts– he’s very broad through the shoulders and chest, and tall, and these t-shirts were long enough and fit well. Another reviewer had noted that the shirts were very long– we noticed this too, when he tried them on right out of the box. After one wash, the shirts didn’t shrink exactly . . . but kinda tightened up and the fabric settled better. The fit after a wash was absolutely perfect. The long-sleeve hemp shirt and jacket were both too tight around the chest and oddly, forearms too. Neither had long enough sleeves either (admittedly, he does have longer than average arms). The black jacket was really nice– great material, design, very stylish looking. My (also XL but smaller framed) brother took both the hemp shirt and jacket, and he liked both (although the black jacket was again kinda tight in the forearms, but he’s hoping it’ll stretch out a bit with wearing). Also, we liked the redesign of the bag– wider, and therefore more reuseable!

    I’ve ordered three mystery bags so far and I’ve honestly been very happy with all of them. This latest one I received one shirt that I wasn’t too stoked on, but I will still wear it. The only thing I would suggest is that I wish there was a way to factor your climate into your mystery bag. I currently live in Florida, so I don’t really have a need for cold weather clothes, say for a few times a year, but over my three bags I have received four hoodies. I’m not complaining because the hoodies are all awesome and I will find a reason to wear them, but I wish there was an option to select warm weather clothes or cold weather clothes or just give me whatever. I understand that would make the process much more difficult on Tentree’s side and kind of take away from the purpose of the mystery bag, but it’s just a thought.

    This was my third bag and I usually get Medium just in case there are pants in my bag even though I’m a Small in tops but since I’ve never gotten pants before I went ahead and got Small. Guess what….this time I got a pair of shorts. They’re a little bit small and sweat shorts aren’t really my jam but I’ll give them a try. I also got 3 t-shirts, one is made with recycled bottles and one is a repeat of a shirt that I got in my last bag, and I LOVE them all. These are my favorite shirts and I always find myself reaching for them on the weekends. I particularly love the Drirelease® Jersey made from recycled polyester. The last item was a kind of “jean” jacket/shirt that isn’t my style but it is so soft and comfortable and fits so well that I find myself reaching for it in this kind of grey moderate weather. I’m super pleased with everything that was in my bag and will definitely be purchasing again.

    Honestly, I’m a women who prefers to wear mens clothes and have been a Mens Medium for a long time but have recently lost some weight so am slipping into smaller sizes. I still ordered a Medium because my biggest fear was getting comfy pants that were too small (darn hips). Well, no pants in this bag so everything I got fit a little bit big but that’s totally my fault. Everything was SUPER soft as usual, I got 2 t’s, 1 henley, 1 hoodie and one 1/4 button up sweatshirt. Ended up giving away a T and the henley because I have too many but loved everything. Next time I think I’ll go for a size Small mystery bag and keep my fingers crossed for “no pants”.

    I had previously purchased a Men’s Mystery Bag for my son and there wasn’t one item that he didn’t like or didn’t fit. We loved the quality and not to mention the SURPRISE! That being said I wanted my own and I must say Ten Tree did not disappoint! I receiver 2 sweatshirts, one grey and the other a coral pink, a printed sweat short, a cute logo t-shirt and a button down short sleeve shirt…LOVE it ALL!!!     The products were great but the extra taxes were nearly as high as the price i had to pay for the bag , just because i live in germany! It says on the website that there could be extra taxes charged but when they are so high I would expect a better information about it because otherwise it hits you by surprise and you cannot even decline to take it because it cannot be send back so you are stuck with those extra charges no matter what! If this would be improved I would by more of the bags but untill it is I will not do so any time soon!

I got 4 shirts, a couple were limited editions and sold out and the other items was a pair of comfortable gray sweatpants. The items are all very good quality, they are all very comfortable and they were colors that I usually don’t wear, but I liked the change in color to my wardrobe. I look forward to purchasing another mystery bag and planting another 50 trees soon.

I bought the male mystery bag in small because I like the cut of tentree’s mens shirts. Sweats are a bit long, but some bagginess just makes them that much more comfortable.     Not in love with two of the chlothes but might grow on me. Two hoodies, sweet! (Unfortunately not a huge fan of off green cameo). I read several reviews about size and I think they fit well for me being in shape so if ones a little overweight might want to order a size larger. Per others thank you TenTree for the variety. (Not all of one type of chlothes) Would be cool if you threw in another item like a hat or other. Probably will purchase another mystery bag next year. 8/10

    I had a great experience. I really wanted a mystery bag and was disappointed to discover the women’s small were gone. I looked to the men’s because I previously bought one for my brother-in-law and we wear about the same size clothes. I went ahead and bought the men’s small for myself. I was so surprised to discover that I got 2 sweaters, a beanie, and 2 tee-shirts. The clothes I felt were unisex and I won’t feel uncomfortable wearing the men’s clothes in public.     The only thing I wasn’t sure about at first was I got a flat bill hat. I usually don’t like flat bill hats but I have come to like the hat I received.     I bought the Men’s Mystery Bag because they were out of my size in the women’s. Which is fine, because I usually like men’s cut clothing better anyways. I was a little hesitant, expecting to get a bag full of stuff that I didn’t like. Thankfully I was proven wrong. I loved everything I got in my bag! I received a hat in a gorgeous shade of green (my favorite color), with a nice leaf design on the bill. I also received a baseball style 3/4 sleeve raglan with little constellations in the tentree logo, a tank top, a plaid, hooded, long-sleeve button-up shirt, and a hooded sweatshirt. I received a bag full of all of my favorite things. It felt like it was tailored to me. All of the tops are extremely soft and comfortable. Everything looks nice and of good quality. My only minor complaint is that they run a little small so I would suggest sizing up.
